VILLAGES AND SMALL TOWNS IN MAJORCA The northwest area of the Island is known as the real Majorca and became well-known thanks to works by characters recognised throughout history such as George Sanz, Archduke Lluís Salvador of Austria and Chopin who composed his best musical works on this part of the Island.
